This may be a new role, but Eugene is an old hand at planning, designing, and implementing magnetic separation solutions for clients around the world.
As our Fine Minerals Processing Specialist, Eugene will focus on the extraction of fine particle sizes (-2 mm) to maximise recovery and minimise losses of mineral value, using the most efficient and cost-effective separation method for each particular mining operation.
He is ready to assist producers of chrome, coal, diamonds, gold, mineral sands, tin, tungsten and vanadium.
Eugene’s experience is impressive; he has assessed numerous challenges facing clients in the fine mineral space to identify opportunities for implementing gravity, electrostatic, magnetic and other methods of mineral separation for more efficient extraction of fine minerals.
To discover the most suitable solutions for client applications, he has created various models simulating fine mineral applications.
Eugene – an energetic trail runner and mountain climber – has been known to move mountains for clients; he has spent considerable time on key account management, taking care of clients’ exacting needs, and has recently been instrumental in the commissioning of no less than three fine mineral plants.
