Stark Presents at the Coal Pressing Society Gathering

Centurion, South Africa — The STARK Team presents to the Coal Processing Society the benefits of RFID technology.

Director of Stark Technologies

Stark Presents to the Coal Processing Society.

Recently, STARK was able to present the results of Online DMS Efficiencies created by utilizing RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology at the Coal Processing Society gathering. The results were obtained from an on-site trial conducted by STARK with Labrite, our respected business partner in the coal sector.

Did you know that RFIDs have existed since the 1980s?

This is a mature & trusted technology.

While the beginning models did not have online monitoring, the concept of using tracers to detect inefficiencies within a system has been improved over time.

Stark provides an in-house developed proprietary system that includes the RFID tracer, detection hardware and software. This provides on-line QA/QC Solution to assess the real time performance of the DMC to maximize your ROI.

RFID tracers increase personnel safety, provide accurate results with no turn-around delay if an adjustment within the system needs to be made, and provide comprehensive size and density class results. Customizable solutions include polygon, seam, and blast tracking as well as continuous equipment optimization and monitoring.

If you have any questions about RFID technology, please feel free to reach out to our Director of Technologies Jean-Pierre Smith or our Process Principal Annelize Fouchee at any time!
