What a night!
From around 13:00, concert goers started gathering under a massive stretch tent of bright yellow patchwork shapes on the premises of Stark Resources’ new South African offices in Limeroc Business Park, Centurion near Pretoria.
"Awesome music,” seems to be the shared response of everyone who attended. Support acts included performances by Steyn Fourie and Pedri van der Westhuizen and their bands.
Also a hit with the audience was the helicopter, whisking off groups of shrieking concert-goers on 5-minute flips of adrenalin and fun.
In the VVIP lapa, invited guests of Stark Resources were treated to welcoming cocktails and dinner, accompanied by a more chilled selection of music – performed by a pianist and percussionist duo.
The idea behind STARKJOL event was to create awareness of Stark’s innovative contributions to mining, while bringing together fun, food, music and great company in safe and pleasant surroundings for the family. Clearly, this objective was achieved – STARKJOLLERS of all ages had the jol of their lives!
Our first STARKJOL was the inaugural event at Stark’s new South African offices. Hopefully, it is the first of many.
